 Katsu-mi - meaning "to overcome your weaknesses". Katsu-Mi Kai is a Shotokan based association that leans towards the practicality of Karate through the application of Kata.  Come along to one of our training sessions, at one of   your local clubs   in Melksham, Devizes, Salisbury, Cheltenham or St Ives to see if you like it, we are sure you will.

   Jion    It is claimed by many that Matsumura brought Jion and Jitte back from China and passed the knowledge on to Itosu. As with all kata, Jion is another beautiful sequence of moves that helps us to remember fighting techniques
